Rules:
1) These rules must be posted in your Journal.
2) Answer the questions in the post, then create ten new questions for any people doing this quiz to answer.
3) Tag a number of people and post their icons here (otherwise it defeats the purpose of this meme).
4) Whoever you tag must be notified via a message on their profile from you.
5) Don't tag the person who tagged you; that's just silly.
6) To make it clear: a tagged individual need only answer the questions thought up by their tagger.
1) Do you enjoy dark and scary pictures/comics/stories/poems?
I'm someone who likes balance, so I prefer things to be at times both dark and light to balance each other out. Even then, I lean towards lighter and more humorous things rather than darker. Still, I do have a certain love for the darker things in life, when I'm in the mood. I've recently started getting into a deliciously dark anime called Future Diary, which I hope to continue once I sort out some bugs with my media player.
2) Who is your favourite fictional hero and why? How about fictional villain?
GLaDOS from Portal is definitely my favorite villain. She's so cruel and vicious...yet so freaking FUNNY. She's a surprisingly complex character who is easy to both love and hate, and actually shows a surprising amount of depth, especially in Portal 2.
Heroes are much trickier…mostly because they are all so dull. But, one of my favorite PROTAGONISTS is Arthur Dent from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Just watching such an ordinary man struggle and against the mind-boggling WEIRDNESS of the universe that he's been thrown into is such a treat for me. Not really a hero, per se, but I'll go with it.
Hmm...Arthur vs GLaDOS...someone needs to make it so.
3) Be honest here: as an artist, have you ever considered drawing/writing erotic or sexually explicit pictures/comics/stories/poems?
Erotic stuff isn't my thing. I'd probably just make people puke trying it. xD But, I don't condone artistic erotica on dA at all, as long as it isn't straight up porn, which should be kept far away from this place of art.
4) My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is all the rage now. Are you a fan? A hater? Or are you indifferent?
Mr. DarkMarx knew I would be doing this when he wrote this >:v
I truly love My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, although I think its receiving a bit more Interwebz attention than practically any show deserves. But I'm a big fan of the characters, storytelling, art style, writing, music and...well, everything. Its just an all-around really, really good show that I make a point to watch, but try not to go TOO overboard with my enjoyment of. Sane brony all the way!
5) Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games (MMORPGs) are pretty popular. Do you play any? Which ones? Have you ever paid for the special features?
I used to play Pirates of the Carribbean Online. LOLZ to how lame I am. As it stand now, I don't really have the time or the money to get into something that requires so much of both, unless its F2P. I may try my hand out on some in the future (Star Trek Online is free?!), but at the moment MMOs are not practical nor interesting to me.
6) Books and films are the most prevalent forms of entertainment. Which do you prefer? Why?
Books are the best stimulation for my imagination and creativity, and I've certainly been making a point to read more lately. However, movies have a certain sway over me that really draws me right in instantly, and its easier for my to review them. I love them both equally for different reasons.
7) In school, do you prefer theory work or hands-on work? Why? (Example: do you prefer to read about experiments, or perform them yourself?)
I always bungle up experiments, so lets just say for my own sake I prefer the theory xD
8) What do you think of these kinds of memes in general? Why do you think that?
Thank the universe I hardly get tagged anymore xD They're fun occasionally, like this one, but I won't do one if I don't feel like it, nor will I be on anyone's ass if they don't do it when I tag them. They're fun, but utterly pointless.
9) Generally, people draw or write. Have you artists ever tried to write a story? Have you writers ever tried your hand at visual art? How did that go?
I tried art once. God killed a kitten over it.
10) I'm sure most people out there have fantasized about having superpowers. If you could pick one superpower, what would it be and why?
...to have the power to have all the powers people answer when asked this questionActually, I think I'd probably like to be able to fly. Amazingly original and exciting, no. But come on, who wouldn't love to soar through the air, go where I need to go quickly, and people in skyscrapers?

One final profound thought
Well, this is my last Journal on this account. Might as well make it a good one, so here it goes...
Anyone noticed how fu*king weird the letter "W" is?
Think about it, most the other letters in the English alphabet (that I've thought about) have their own sound in their pronunciation. For example B=Bee, C=Cee, X=Ex, etc.
Then you have W. Double-u. What kind of name is that for a letter? And theres no "wuh" sound in there at ALL. Hell, it doesn't even look like two "U"'s! It looks like two "V"'s! Why the hell don't we call it "double-v"?
The final profound thought is this: The letter W is the hipster of letters. Wild.
Anyway, I'd like to
Today, I Became a Man.
So I was eating at McDonalds for lunch today, when I noticed something off to the side of the counter.
Their current Happy Meal toys included Transformers and My Little Pony: Friendship is magic toys.
I knew what I had to do.
I walked into that restaurant a boy. I walked out a two-dollar poorer brony. No regrets.
Okay, one regret; they didn't have Pinkie Pie in stock. I got Applejack and Twilight instead. BUT STILL. ~mbisonyesplz (https://www.deviantart.com/mbisonyesplz)
In other news, my Spring Break has officially started! I plan on making that new dA account I've been going on about forever tommorow, with POSSIBLY a new short story that I've been working on to go with i
Kony 2012...
What do you think of this new campaign to raise awareness of the revolutionary ramapge of Joseph Kony in Africa, known as Kony 2012?
I won't lie, I don't know all the details. What I am aware of is that this Kony fellow is leading a rebel group known as the RLA to establish a theocracy in Africa, and is using children as both sex slaves and soldiers in order to do so.
Now, I'm certainly not going to argue that this is nothing but atrocious. This man is clearly doing monstrous things, committing heinous war and hate crimes. What I am wondering, however, is the legitimacy of the campaign Kony 2012 by the Invisible Children organization.
